INS Satpura arrives in Singapore for SIMBEX-25

On 30 July 2025, the Defence Ministry said INS Satpura had arrived in Singapore for the 32nd edition of the Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX-25).

INS Satpura arrived in Singapore to take part in the 32nd edition of the Singapore-India Maritime Bilateral Exercise (SIMBEX-25), the Defence Ministry said on 30 July 2025. The exercise began with a harbour phase of subject-matter expert exchanges, professional interactions and deck familiarisation visits on Republic of Singapore Navy ships RSN Vigilant and RSN Supreme, to be followed by an opening ceremony, a pre-sail conference and a sea phase of advanced naval operations. The Ministry linked the exercise to India's MAHASAGAR vision and Act East Policy.
