The 2025 edition of the Indian Navy's capstone Theatre Level Operational Readiness Exercise (TROPEX) is being conducted in the Indian Ocean Region over three months, January to March 2025, the Ministry of Defence said on 7 February 2025. The biennial exercise involves about 65 naval ships, 9 submarines and over 80 aircraft, including the indigenous aircraft carrier Vikrant, along with Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Coast Guard assets. It includes harbour and sea phases, cyber and electronic warfare, live weapon firings and an amphibious exercise (AMPHEX).
