93rd Air Force Day: IAF anniversary parade at Air Force Station Hindan, Ghaziabad

On 8 October 2025 the Indian Air Force marked its 93rd anniversary with a parade at Air Force Station Hindan, Ghaziabad, reviewed by Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh.

On 8 October 2025 the 93rd anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF) was commemorated at Air Force Station Hindan, Ghaziabad. Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, the Army Chief and the Navy Chief attended, and the ceremonial parade was reviewed by Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh and commanded by Gp Capt Chetan Pradeep Deshpande. Three Mi-17 1V helicopters in 'Dhwaj' formation gave an aerial salute. In his address the Air Chief called the IAF the 'fourth largest Air Force in the world' and said its performance in Operation Sindoor was a testament to its prowess. A Heritage Flight featured the historic Tiger Moth and HT-2 aircraft and a solo display by the vintage Harvard. The static display included the C-17 Globemaster, Su-30 MKI, Apache, MiG-29, MiG-21 Bison, Rafale, the Akash missile system and Rohini radar.
