Participants will use multi-parametric geoscience data, including geology, geophysics, geochemistry, remote sensing and borehole data, to identify concealed and deep-seated ore bodies of critical minerals such as REE, Ni-PGE and copper, and of diamond, iron, manganese and gold, within a pre-defined 39,000 sq km area in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Prizes are ₹10 lakh, ₹7 lakh and ₹5 lakh, with a special ₹5 lakh prize for an all-women team if none is in the top three.
