The 8th meeting of the India–US Joint Working Group on Aircraft Carrier Technology Cooperation (JWGACTC), constituted under the India–US Defence Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI), was organised in India from 13 to 16 May 2025. A six-member US delegation headed by Rear Admiral Casey Moton, Programme Executive Officer (Aircraft Carriers), visited defence establishments in Delhi and Goa. The opening session on 13 May in New Delhi was co-chaired by Rear Admiral Vishal Bishnoi, Assistant Controller Carrier Projects. The two sides discussed plans for future cooperation on aircraft carrier technology and released a Joint Statement; in Goa the delegation interacted with Indian Navy aviation specialists on carrier operations and technical aspects.
