Overall exports (merchandise and services) for April-October 2024 are estimated at USD 468.27 billion, 7.28% more than USD 436.48 billion a year earlier; merchandise exports for April-October were USD 252.28 billion (up 3.18%). Non-petroleum exports in October rose 25.63% to USD 34.61 billion. Growth was led by engineering goods (up 39.37% to USD 11.26 billion), electronic goods (up 45.69%), chemicals, rice (up 85.79%) and readymade garments.
