The visit coincides with the 50th year of Seychelles' independence and of India–Seychelles diplomatic relations. The leaders announced the India–Seychelles Joint Vision for Sustainability, Economic Growth and Security through Enhanced Linkages (SESEL). India announced a Special Economic Package of USD 175 million — a USD 125 million Rupee-denominated Line of Credit and USD 50 million in grants — for projects in social housing, e-mobility, vocational training, health, defence and maritime security. Seychelles agreed to join the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) and will set up a Seychelles Hydrographic Unit with Indian help. MoUs were signed on training Seychelles civil servants and on digital transformation. President Droupadi Murmu hosted a banquet for President Herminie and said Seychelles has an important place in India's MAHASAGAR Vision.
