India and Saudi Arabia sign Bilateral Agreement for Haj 2025

Summary

The Bilateral Agreement for Haj 2025 between India and Saudi Arabia was signed at Jeddah on 13 January 2025 by Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah. Under the agreement, a quota of 1,75,025 pilgrims has been earmarked for India. Kiren Rijiju visited Saudi Arabia from 11 to 14 January 2025, attended the inaugural session of the 4th Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition at Jeddah, and reviewed arrangements for Indian pilgrims at Jeddah and Madinah.
