The 14th edition of the India–Russia naval exercise INDRA began at Chennai on 28 March 2025, with a harbour phase until 30 March and a sea phase in the Bay of Bengal from 31 March to 2 April.

The 14th edition of the India–Russia bilateral naval exercise INDRA began at Chennai on 28 March 2025 and runs until 2 April 2025. The harbour phase at Chennai (28–30 March) includes an opening ceremony, subject matter expert exchanges, visits and sports, and the sea phase in the Bay of Bengal (31 March–2 April) includes tactical manoeuvres, live firings, anti-air drills, underway replenishment and helicopter cross-deck landings. Russian ships Pechanga, Rezkiy and Aldar Tsydenzhapov are taking part with INS Rana, INS Kuthar and a P-8I maritime patrol aircraft. The exercise has been held since 2003.
