The Office of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Ministry of Finance, with the Ministry of External Affairs, hosted the first-ever seminar on India's Public Financial Management (PFM) experience for Global South countries in New Delhi on 5 December 2025. The PFM seminar brought together heads of missions and experts from partner countries including Guyana, Cuba, Mauritius, Maldives, Timor-Leste and Fiji, with the intent of conceiving a PFM forum. Department of Economic Affairs Secretary Anuradha Thakur gave the keynote address on India's macro-fiscal reforms.
