India's real GDP grows 8.2% in Q2 (July–September) of FY 2025-26

On 28 November 2025 the National Statistics Office estimated India's real GDP growth at 8.2% in Q2 (July–September) of 2025-26, up from 5.6% a year earlier; H1 growth was 8.0%.

The National Statistics Office (NSO), MoSPI, released quarterly GDP estimates for July–September 2025. Real GDP grew 8.2% against 5.6% in Q2 of 2024-25, and nominal GDP grew 8.7%. The secondary sector grew 8.1% (manufacturing 9.1%, construction 7.2%) and the tertiary sector 9.2%, while agriculture and allied grew 3.5%. Real GDP in April–September 2025 (H1) grew 8.0% against 6.1% a year earlier.
