The second meeting of the India–EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) was held in New Delhi on 28 February 2025, co-chaired by S. Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal and Ashwini Vaishnaw for India.

Summary

The second meeting of the India–EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) took place in New Delhi on 28 February 2025. It was co-chaired for India by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and for the EU by Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen and Commissioners Maroš Šefčovič and Ekaterina Zaharieva. The TTC was set up by PM Modi and Ursula von der Leyen in April 2022; its first meeting was held in Brussels on 16 May 2023. It works through three working groups, including one on strategic technologies, digital governance and digital connectivity. During the visit, the Bharat 6G Alliance and the EU's 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association signed an MoU.
