The first India–Chile Joint Working Group meeting on Agriculture was held virtually on 12 March 2025, co-chaired by Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, and Gabriel Layseca, Director of International Affairs at Chile's Bureau of Agricultural Studies and Policies (ODEPA). The two sides discussed market access, horticulture cooperation, capacity building in extension and research collaboration. India highlighted the Digital Agriculture Mission, Lakhpati Didi, Krishi Sakhi, FPOs and e-NAM.
