India and Central Asian countries conclude Strategic Cyber Exercise
The National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), with the Ministry of External Affairs and NCIIPC, organised a three-day Strategic Cyber Exercise for five Central Asian countries in New Delhi from 12 to 14 November 2025.
Summary
The India–Central Asia cyber exercise involved technical teams from cyber security agencies, national CERTs and security agencies of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. It focused on cyber threat hunting and incident response against sophisticated transnational threats to critical infrastructure, combining technical capacity building with strategic decision-making. It fulfilled one of India's commitments under the India–Central Asia Meeting of Secretaries of Security Councils/NSAs.
