All four Indian students won gold medals at the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (10–19 July 2026), India's best-ever IChO result and first all-gold haul.

The 58th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO), held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from 10 to 19 July 2026, saw all four Indian students win gold medals, India's best-ever IChO performance and first all-gold haul. The Indian gold medallists were Debadatta Priyadarshi (Bhubaneswar, Odisha), Harshit Singla (Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab), Kabeer Chillar (Delhi) and Sandeep Kuchi (Hyderabad, Telangana). In the country-wise tally, India was placed first, jointly with China, Vietnam and Individual Participants Group B (from Russia). IChO 2026 had 363 students from 93 countries, the biggest IChO till date.
