The India AI Impact Summit 2026 concluded at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on 20 February 2026 with the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration on AI Impact and over $250 billion in AI infrastructure investment pledges. Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the five-day convening also drew about $20 billion in deep-tech venture commitments; the inauguration was attended by over 20 Heads of Government, and representatives of 118 countries and more than 5 lakh people took part, with 550 pre-summit events held in 30 countries. The Declaration, guided by the principle "Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaya" (welfare for all, happiness for all), is built on seven pillars or "Chakras" and was accompanied by voluntary deliverables such as the Charter for the Democratic Diffusion of AI, the Global AI Impact Commons and the Trusted AI Commons. PIB said 88 countries and international organisations had endorsed it as of 21 February 2026; Bangladesh, Costa Rica and Guatemala joined later, taking the total to 91 by 24 February.
