Mining, manufacturing and electricity grew 0.9%, 4.1% and 2.0% respectively. Within manufacturing, 18 of 23 industry groups recorded positive growth, led by basic metals, electrical equipment and coke and refined petroleum products. Among use-based groups, consumer durables grew the fastest at 5.9%. Quick estimates of IIP are released on the 12th of every month with a six-week lag.
