IIP grows 5.2% in November 2024, up from 3.5% in October

India's Index of Industrial Production (IIP) grew 5.2% in November 2024, up from 3.5% (Quick Estimate) in October 2024, as per Quick Estimates released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on 10 January 2025. Manufacturing grew 5.8%, electricity 4.4% and mining 1.9%. The IIP stood at 148.4 against 141.1 in November 2023, and 18 of 23 manufacturing industry groups recorded positive growth. Quick Estimates of IIP are released on the 12th of every month, or the previous working day, with a six-week lag.
