IIM Bangalore will establish its first international campus at the Singhasari Special Economic Zone, Malang, Indonesia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on 7 July 2026 during his joint press statement with President Prabowo Subianto. The curriculum will cover five areas: global supply chains, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, climate and sustainability, and healthcare management. Phase One will offer executive education for senior executives and public-sector professionals; subject to its success over the first two years, Phase Two will add degree programmes. The campus will run through an MoU between IIMB and PT Intelegensia Grahatama, the developer of Singhasari SEZ, and follows overseas campuses of IIM Ahmedabad in Dubai, IIT Delhi in Abu Dhabi and IIT Madras in Zanzibar.
