First campus of Indian Institute of Creative Technology opens in Mumbai

On 18 July 2025 in Mumbai, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated the first campus of the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) at the NFDC Complex.

The first campus of the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT), including its administrative complex and classrooms at the NFDC Complex in Mumbai, was inaugurated on 18 July 2025 by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The two also inaugurated the WAVES 2025 Bharat Pavilion at Gulshan Mahal in the NFDC-National Museum of Indian Cinema, launched the IICT logo and released the outcome reports of the first World Audio-Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES 2025). Vaishnaw said IICT will offer industry-aligned advanced programmes to train AVGC-XR professionals and trainers.
