The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) concluded SANVAD 2026, its first Scholars' Assembly for Next-gen Ventures to Advance their Development, at ICMR–National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR), New Delhi, on 21 February 2026, after a three-day conclave from 19 February. SANVAD is an annual rotating platform to raise the quality of doctoral research among ICMR Ph.D. scholars. The 2027 edition will be hosted by ICMR–National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.
