The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and the Indonesia Coast Guard, Badan Keamanan Laut Republik Indonesia (BAKAMLA), renewed their MoU on Maritime Safety and Security Cooperation for another three years at the 2nd High-Level Meeting at Coast Guard Headquarters, New Delhi on 27 January 2025. The meeting was led by ICG Director General Paramesh Sivamani and BAKAMLA Chief Vice Admiral Irvansyah. Talks covered maritime search and rescue, pollution response and maritime law enforcement, while ICG Ship Shaunak was deployed to Jakarta from 27 to 30 January 2025.
