On 12 June 2025 in New Delhi, the Indian Coast Guard chaired the 137th meeting of the Offshore Security Coordination Committee (OSCC) to review the security of India's offshore installations.

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) chaired the 137th meeting of the Offshore Security Coordination Committee (OSCC) in New Delhi on 12 June 2025 to review the preparedness and effectiveness of security for India's offshore installations and strengthen joint response mechanisms. ICG Director General Paramesh Sivamani stressed energy security and all possible measures to secure offshore assets. Representatives of the Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Ministries of Home Affairs, External Affairs and Petroleum and Natural Gas, Directorate General of Hydrocarbons, Intelligence Bureau, Directorate General of Shipping, ONGC and the police of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh attended. The OSCC was constituted in 1978 to ensure the effective functioning of offshore security arrangements (static).
