Ten films compete for the ICFT–UNESCO Gandhi Medal at IFFI 2025
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced on 9 November 2025 that 10 films will compete for the ICFT–UNESCO Gandhi Medal at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025 in Goa, judged by a jury chaired by Algerian director Dr Ahmed Bedjaoui.

The ICFT–UNESCO Gandhi Medal was instituted at the 46th IFFI and is presented with the International Council for Film, Television and Audiovisual Communication (ICFT), Paris, under the aegis of UNESCO. It honours a film that promotes peace and inter-cultural dialogue and reflects Mahatma Gandhi's vision of non-violence.
