The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) launched the second edition of the Brazil–India Cross-Incubation Programme in Agritech, Maitri 2.0, in New Delhi on 22 September 2025. The launch was attended by ICAR Director General and DARE Secretary Dr. M. L. Jat and Brazil's Ambassador to India Kenneth Nobrega. Dr. Jat described Maitri 2.0 as a two-way learning platform for co-creation between the two countries and cited the recent ICAR–EMBRAPA MoU as a milestone for agri-food collaboration.
