Organised by the Indian Navy, its theme was "Common Maritime Security Challenges in the IOR â Progressing Lines of Efforts (LsOE) to Mitigate Dynamic Threats", in line with the Prime Minister's MAHASAGAR vision (Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions). In his keynote, former Navy Chief Admiral Arun Prakash (Retd) called for synchronised regional responses to illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, trafficking and other transnational maritime crimes.
