He urged them to develop new blended products, such as jute with bamboo, to meet 100% of factory energy needs with green energy, and to gear up for a $350 billion textile market with $150 billion exports by 2030. Panipat, known as the 'city of weavers', is recognised as a Town of Export Excellence for woollen blankets.
