GeM: MSEs win 44.8% of order value; Forward Auctions dispose of ₹2,200 crore of assets

The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) said on 21 December 2025 that, as of 30 November 2025, more than 11.25 lakh Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) sellers had secured orders worth ₹7.44 lakh crore, or 44.8% of total order value on GeM, well above the mandated annual MSE procurement target of 25%. More than 2 lakh women-owned MSEs active on GeM have won orders worth ₹78,066 crore, supported by the Womaniya initiative. GeM's Forward Auction module, used to sell government assets such as scrap, e-waste, old vehicles and leasehold property to the highest bidder, handled auctions worth over ₹2,200 crore between December 2021 and November 2025 through more than 13,000 auctions.
