Fast Track Immigration–Trusted Traveller Programme extended to five more airports

Union Home Minister Amit Shah virtually inaugurated the Fast Track Immigration–Trusted Traveller Programme (FTI-TTP) at Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), Kozhikode and Amritsar airports on 11 September 2025. With these five additions, the programme is now operational at 13 airports, after earlier rollouts at airports including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Kochi and Ahmedabad. Shah said FTI-TTP lets passengers avoid long queues and manual checks and get immigration clearance in about 30 seconds, while also strengthening national security. The Ministry of Home Affairs plans to integrate the programme with the upcoming Navi Mumbai and Jewar airports.
