Two RCB Faridabad scientists named EMBO Global Investigators
Dr Prem Kaushal and Dr Rajender Motiani of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad, were among 11 life scientists named to the EMBO Global Investigator Network on 12 December 2024.

The European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) named eleven life scientists as new members of the EMBO Global Investigator Network on 12 December 2024, five of them based in India. Two are from the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad: Dr Prem Kaushal, whose research focuses on protein synthesis in pathogenic microbes such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and Dr Rajender Motiani, who studies calcium-driven inter-organelle crosstalk in skin pigmentation. The network supports young group leaders in Chile, India, Singapore and Taiwan, providing four years of support for networking and collaboration from January 2025. RCB, set up by the Department of Biotechnology, is a UNESCO Category II Centre.
