SIR Phase II: 95% of enumeration forms distributed across 12 States/UTs

The Election Commission's daily bulletin of 15 November 2025 showed that 95.44% of enumeration forms had been distributed under Phase II of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in 12 States and Union Territories.

SIR Phase II covers about 50.99 crore electors (as on 27 October 2025) in Andaman & Nicobar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Its enumeration phase runs from 4 November to 4 December 2025. By 15 November, 99.95% of the elector-specific enumeration forms had been printed and 48.67 crore distributed, with over 5.33 lakh Booth Level Officers deployed; Uttar Pradesh has the largest electorate at about 15.44 crore.
