ECI publishes Index Cards and Statistical Reports for 830 Assembly constituencies within 72 hours on ECINET

On 8 May 2026 the Election Commission of India published the Index Cards and 14 Statistical Reports for all 830 Assembly constituencies that went to polls in the 2026 Assembly elections and bye-elections, the first time the reports came within 72 hours of results.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) published the Index Cards and Statistical Reports for the 2026 general elections to Legislative Assemblies and bye-elections, which concluded on 6 May 2026, covering all 830 Assembly constituencies that went to polls. The Index Cards were made available on ECINET and the ECI website within a record 72 hours of the declaration of results, a process that took weeks or months before ECINET. A set of 14 Statistical Reports was released at the same time, the first time such reports have come out within 72 hours; they cover electors, polling stations, turnout, gender-wise participation and party-wise vote share. A re-poll has been scheduled for 144-Falta Assembly constituency of West Bengal on 21 May 2026.
