On 27 July 2025, the Election Commission of India released key findings of the enumeration phase (24 June-25 July 2025) of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) released the key findings of the enumeration phase (24 June-25 July 2025) of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar on 27 July 2025. Out of 7.89 crore electors as on 24 June 2025, over 7.24 crore submitted enumeration forms. The exercise involved DEOs of all 38 districts, 243 EROs, 2,976 AEROs and BLOs at 77,895 polling booths, along with about 1.60 lakh Booth Level Agents of 12 major political parties. Genuine electors can be added back during the claims and objections period from 1 August to 1 September 2025. Special urban camps were set up in all 5,683 wards of 261 urban local bodies, and young electors were encouraged to apply in Form 6.
