Bihar SIR: 80.11% of electors submit enumeration forms

The Election Commission of India (ECI) said on 12 July 2025 that, as of 6 PM, enumeration forms of 6,32,59,497 electors, or 80.11%, had been collected in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, meaning four out of every five electors had submitted forms. The work involved 77,895 BLOs plus 20,603 newly appointed BLOs, 38 District Election Officers, EROs in all 243 Assembly Constituencies, 963 AEROs and 1.5 lakh BLAs of political parties. Forms were to be collected before 25 July 2025, and the draft electoral rolls were to be published on 1 August.
