DSC A22, the third ship of the five-vessel Diving Support Craft (DSC) project being built by Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd (TRSL), Kolkata for the Indian Navy, was launched at Titagarh on 12 September 2025. The ceremony was presided over by Vice Admiral Suraj Berry. The contract for the five craft was signed between the Ministry of Defence and TRSL on 12 February 2021. The DSCs are catamaran-hull vessels of about 380 tonnes displacement, designed for diving operations in coastal waters, and were indigenously designed and built under Indian Register of Shipping rules, with model testing at the Naval Science and Technological Laboratory, Visakhapatnam.
