On 15 November 2024 at Kamptee, Nagpur, the Dragon Palace Temple marked its 25th anniversary, attended by Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Kiren Rijiju. The Ogawa Society of Japan, which helped build the monastery complex, was represented by around 50 monks from Japan. Madam Norito Ogawa helped Sulekhatai Kumbhare, the host and owner of the temple complex, set it up. The International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) co-partnered in organising the event, which drew around 5,000 people.
