Scindia launched the 'International Incoming Spoofed Calls Prevention System', built by the Department of Telecommunications and telecom service providers to identify and block incoming international calls that display Indian mobile numbers (+91) by manipulating the calling line identity (CLI spoofing). Within 24 hours of operation, about 1.35 crore calls, around 90% of all incoming international calls, were identified as spoofed and blocked. The same day, at Bharat Sanchar Bhavan, he unveiled BSNL's new logo and seven citizen-centric services, and said BSNL has successfully trialled indigenous 5G RAN and core in the 3.6 GHz and 700 MHz bands.
