Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviewed the work of the Department of Land Resources (DoLR) on 8 May 2026, saying the Land Stack initiative would make land management transparent and citizen-centric and help resolve long-pending disputes. The Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP) 3.0 covers computerisation of land records, georeferencing and Unique Land Parcel Identification Numbers (ULPIN), Aadhaar seeding, computerisation of revenue courts, and Core GIS and Land Stack software. Integrated MIS and GIS-based monitoring was proposed for the Watershed Development Component of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana 3.0, and sub-registrar offices are to be modernised.
