The Ministry of Tribal Affairs said on 24 June 2025 that the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJA) had reached over 53 lakh tribal citizens through more than 22,000 Tribal Empowerment camps in its first nine days. The camps enabled over 1.38 lakh Aadhaar enrolments and issued over 1.68 lakh Ayushman Bharat cards. The month-long campaign runs from 15 June to 15 July 2025 and aims to reach over 5.5 crore tribal citizens in 1 lakh+ villages and PVTG habitations across 550+ districts of 31 States and UTs. DAJA honours Bhagwan Birsa Munda (Dharti Aaba) as part of Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh.
