DGT and Autodesk sign MoU to build digital design and make skills in ITIs and NSTIs

The Directorate General of Training (DGT) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and software company Autodesk exchanged an MoU in New Delhi on 6 November 2025 to build digital design and make skills among trainers in ITIs and National Skill Training Institutes.

Summary

The DGT–Autodesk MoU, exchanged on 6 November 2025 in the presence of MSDE Secretary Debashree Mukherjee and Autodesk President and CEO Andrew Anagnost, will train faculty and trainers of National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs) and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in digital design and make tools used in architecture, engineering, manufacturing and construction. The release cited Autodesk's State of Design and Make Report 2025, in which 52% of Indian organisations surveyed said AI-related skills would be their top hiring priority.
