The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) issued the scheme guidelines for the 23rd National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2026 on 9 August 2025. A total of 16 awards, 10 Gold and 6 Silver, will be given across seven categories; each award carries a trophy, a certificate and an incentive of ₹10 lakh for Gold and ₹5 lakh for Silver awardees. Nominations will be accepted on the NAeG portal from 1 September 2025, with 15 October 2025 as the last date. Eligible projects must have been launched between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2025 and be fully operational as of 1 August 2025.
