DARPG launches NeSDA 2025 portal to assess online service delivery

On 25 May 2026 the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) launched the portal for the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) 2025.

DARPG launched the NeSDA 2025 portal at a meeting with nodal officers of Central Ministries and States/UTs on 25.05.2026, chaired by Additional Secretary Sarita Chauhan, who walked participants through the assessment framework, submission workflows, reporting and timelines. NeSDA is a biennial framework developed by DARPG to measure the depth and effectiveness of e-Governance service delivery from the citizen's perspective. Based on the Online Service Index (OSI) of the UN e-Government Survey and customised for India's federal structure, it assesses the availability, accessibility and maturity of online services across States, UTs and focus Central Ministries.
