DARPG issues guidelines for 28th National Awards for e-Governance 2025

Nominations in six categories are open on www.nceg.gov.in till 15 February 2025.

Summary

The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) issued the guidelines for the 28th National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) 2025 on 1 January 2025, with DARPG Secretary V. Srinivas launching the nomination portal www.nceg.gov.in. The National Awards for e-Governance 2025 will have 16 awards — 10 Gold and 6 Silver — across six categories, including innovation by use of AI and new-age technologies and best e-Gov practices in cyber security. Gold awardees will receive ₹10 lakh and Silver awardees ₹5 lakh for use on public welfare projects, and nominations can be submitted until 5 pm on 15 February 2025.
