CSIR and Nepal Academy of Science and Technology sign MoU to renew Indo-Nepal scientific cooperation

India's CSIR and the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) signed an MoU on science and technology cooperation at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, on 18 February 2025.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) formalised an MoU on 18 February 2025 at CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. It was signed by CSIR Director General N. Kalaiselvi and NAST Vice-Chancellor Dilip Subba. The two bodies first signed an agreement in 1994, when NAST was known as RONAST, and the new MoU covers exchange of scientists, joint research projects, workshops and access to each other's research facilities.
