Jitendra Singh announces CSIR's indigenous paracetamol technology at DSIR's 40th Foundation Day

Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh announced CSIR's indigenously developed technology to produce paracetamol at the 40th Foundation Day of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi, on 5 January 2025. CSIR's paracetamol technology aims to reduce dependence on imported raw materials, and Karnataka-based Satya Deeptha Pharmaceuticals Ltd will use it to produce affordable paracetamol domestically. The DSIR Foundation Day also marked 16 more CSIR technology transfers to MSMEs under the Laghu Udyog Bharati '100 days 100 technology' campaign, in addition to 57 transferred earlier.
