Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh flagged off the CSIR-developed e-Tractor's nationwide roadshow from Jammu to Kanyakumari on 6 March 2025 and inaugurated an E-Tiller of CSIR-CMERI.

The roadshow will cover the country before ending at Kanyakumari, to spread awareness of cost-effective, eco-friendly farm machinery. At the CSIR-IIIM Chatha farm he also inaugurated an E-Tiller developed by CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI), Durgapur.
