Tranche VI, launched on 16 September 2025, offers 23 blocks — 19 composite licences and 4 mining leases — covering minerals such as rare earth elements, rare metals, tungsten, lithium, niobium, tin and graphite. Tender documents went on sale on 23 September 2025 and close on 24 November 2025, with bids due by 1 December 2025 on the MSTC e-auction platform. The Secretary said the government is also developing indigenous technologies for beneficiation and processing of critical minerals.
