CCEA approves ₹3,630.77-crore revised cost for 31.42-km Jewar Airport link to Delhi–Mumbai Expressway

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved on 10 March 2026 a revised total capital cost of ₹3,630.77 crore for the greenfield connectivity to Jewar International Airport from the Delhi–Faridabad–Ballabhgarh–Sohna spur of the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, to be built on Hybrid Annuity Mode in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The 31.42-km corridor will give South Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram direct high-speed access to the airport and crosses the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, the Yamuna Expressway and the Dedicated Freight Corridor. About 11 km will be built as an elevated highway through an area planned for dense urban development under the Faridabad Master Plan 2031; the elevated section adds ₹689.24 crore to the cost, part of which the Haryana government has agreed to bear.
