CCEA approves ₹3,839.42-crore four-laning of 80.45-km Badnawar–Timarwani stretch of NH-752D in Madhya Pradesh

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved on 10 March 2026 the four-laning of the 80.45-km Badnawar–Petlawad–Thandla–Timarwani section of NH-752D in Madhya Pradesh at a cost of ₹3,839.42 crore, completing a four-lane link from Ujjain to the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved on 10 March 2026 a four-lane corridor on the 80.45-km Badnawar–Petlawad–Thandla–Timarwani section of NH-752D in Madhya Pradesh, at a total capital cost of ₹3,839.42 crore on Hybrid Annuity Mode. With the 70.40-km Ujjain–Badnawar section already four-laned, the project will complete direct four-lane connectivity from Ujjain to the Timarwani interchange on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, cutting travel time by about an hour. The route is the shortest for traffic from Gujarat and Maharashtra to Ujjain and will help handle crowds at the Simhastha Kumbh Mela in April 2028. It passes through the tribal districts of Dhar and Jhabua.
