CCEA approves three highway projects: NH-160A in Maharashtra, NH-56 in Gujarat and NH-167 in Telangana

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved three national highway projects on 13 February 2026. In Maharashtra, the 154.635-km Ghoti–Trimbak (Mokhada)–Jawhar–Manor–Palghar section of NH-160A will be upgraded at ₹3,320.38 crore on EPC mode, giving Nashik's industrial traffic a bypass. In Gujarat, the Dhamasiya–Bitada/Movi and Nasarpore–Malotha sections of NH-56, totalling 107.67 km, will be made four-lane at ₹4,583.64 crore on Hybrid Annuity Mode, improving access to tribal areas and the Statue of Unity. In Telangana, NH-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad–Panaji Economic Corridor will be widened to four lanes over 80.01 km at ₹3,175.08 crore, also on HAM.
